paper no-sew stuffed animal

IMG_3128
Another great creation that milo’s friend and I made last week when she was over. This was totally her idea. You can make a stuffed animal out of paper, who knew?!  With a little assistance from an adult, its super fun for kids and it turned out really great. She made a teddy bear!

you will need:

Paper
Scissors
Markers, crayons, paints or any other embellisments
Stapler
Stuffing

Trace your animal on two sheets of paper and cut.
Draw a face or decorate to your liking one of the shapes.
Staple the edges closed, leaving a small space to fill with stuffing.
Fill with stuffing and staple clothes.

Viola!

129. robot cards.

Milo got another birthday gift last night, so we whipped up these quick little notecards with some scrap fabric to say thanks!

80. pinwheels.

I found a tutorial here to make little paper pinwheels. These were suprisingly simple! I just glued them to straws and glued a button in the middle of them. I will definitely keep them handy for some cupcake-worthy occasion in the future.

58. fabric scrap notecards

My little guy has his first dentist appointment tonight, and I knew I would be rushing around once I got home, so I whipped up these notecards with some fabric scraps this morning. I cut more fabric and plan to make more – but for now here are a few. Happy monday!

40. valentines.

Tonight, milo and I put together the valentines we started a few weeks ago for the kids in his class. Nothing too crazy, I just designed a simple card that we cut out and glued to some card stock I had. Then we hot – glued the crayons to the cards. Milo was a great helper, and once again enjoyed modeling the finished product.
