Milo and I made these christmas tree ornaments out of an old cereal box. Its really easy, and Milo enjoyed this little craft. It was a good project for him because he was able to do just about all of the steps himself. He was super proud of his little trees at the end!

Materials needed:
cereal box
green paint
paint brush
buttons of various sizes
popsicle sticks
glitter
string

I drew triangles on the cereal box and had milo paint right into the box. While the paint was drying we sprinkled some glitter. Glue the buttons and let dry. Once dry, cut out the trees, and glue half a popsicle stick to the back. (I used hot glue for this step)
Punch a hole in the top and insert string. Hang and enjoy!

285. plush monsters!

Made more of these monsters! As I said before, I can’t make just one. It’s so fun to turn fabric scraps to new life!

276. bat garland.

In honor of my favorite holiday….Milo and I worked on this simple bat garland. I saw something like it on pinterest.  I cut the flags from newspaper, pasted bats to them, and then put an orange button in the middle of each bat. Glued it on some yarn, and hung it over the fireplace. Bring on halloween!
